PROTECTIVE
APRONS

Specialized armor protection for EOD operators, engineering teams and explosive ordnance disposal units. Aprons are used during demining and work with explosive hazards when reinforced frontal coverage of the torso, neck and lower face area is required

PROFESSIONAL PROTECTION FOR DEMINING

DEMINING AND ENGINEERING WORK

PROTECTION IN THE DIRECT RISK ZONE

The F-2 apron is designed for demining and maximum feasible protection against fragments and blast effects from anti-personnel blast mines. The construction covers the frontal torso area, while the upper protective element additionally shields the neck and lower face area from possible fragmentation impact

FRONTAL COVERAGE FOR DANGEROUS OPERATIONS

The soft protection area of 70.2 dm² helps cover the critical frontal zone of the body during inspection, preparation, carrying or direct work with explosive hazards. The apron is used as a specialized armor element for tasks where the primary threat is positioned in front of the operator

PRACTICAL OPERATION

QUICK RELEASE AND ADJUSTMENT

The apron uses a left-side quick-release system: when the waist pull loop is activated, the product opens at the waist and left shoulder areas. Waist adjustment is handled by cummerbunds with textile fasteners, allowing fit adaptation to the user’s equipment and loadout configuration

APPLICATION AND CRITICAL FEATURES

WHAT MATTERS FOR THE F-2 FRAGMENTATION-PROTECTION APRON

FRONTAL PROTECTION

THE APRON WORKS WHERE THE THREAT IS IN FRONT OF THE OPERATOR

TORSO
NECK
FACE AREA

F-2 is designed for work where the main fragmentation risk is directed toward the frontal body area. The construction covers the torso, while the upper protective element additionally protects the neck and lower face area during demining or work with explosive hazards

FRAGMENTATION THREAT

THE PRIMARY TASK IS TO REDUCE INJURY RISK DURING A BLAST EVENT

FRAGMENTS
DEMINING
RISK

During EOD and demining work, the operator may be positioned close to the source of danger. A fragmentation-protection apron does not replace a full protection system, but it critically reinforces the frontal body area when the expected direction of threat is predictable

MOVEMENT AND WORKING POSTURE

PROTECTION MUST NOT INTERFERE WITH CAREFUL HAND WORK

MOVEMENT
FIT
CONTROL

For an EOD operator, it is important not only to cover critical zones, but also to preserve movement control. The apron must work together with the equipment, without interfering with visibility, bending, careful hand actions or movement during preparation or carrying of a hazardous item

QUICK RELEASE

IN A CRITICAL MOMENT, EQUIPMENT MUST BE REMOVED QUICKLY

RELEASE
SHOULDER
WAIST

The left-side quick-release system allows the apron to open rapidly at the waist and left shoulder areas. This matters for emergency situations, user evacuation or quick removal of equipment after completion of a dangerous operation

SYSTEM COMPATIBILITY

THE APRON IS BEST USED WITH A HELMET AND FACE VISOR

HELMET
VISOR
SYSTEM

F-2 can be used together with a ballistic helmet and a polycarbonate visor. This combination creates a more complete protection system for EOD and demining tasks where not only the torso, but also the head, neck and face area require coverage

PRACTICAL OPERATION

ADJUSTMENT AND POCKETS MUST SUPPORT THE REAL TASK

CUMMERBUNDS
VELCRO
POCKETS

Waist adjustment with cummerbunds and textile fasteners helps adapt the fit to the user and equipment. Front pockets add practicality during work when small elements or auxiliary tools must remain quickly accessible
